From the chromatic intensity of Consciousness Born to the nocturnal organic landscapes of Leviathan, Aviram's paintings reveal a fascination with the free play of forms, spatial tension and the emotional force of color. Even in his most abstract compositions, traces of memory, landscape and the human figure continue to emerge beneath the surface — as in the psychological presence of Maayan or the minimalist stillness of Desert. His work moves from mythological and biblical references toward increasingly abstract explorations of shape, texture and gesture, while maintaining a deeply tactile relationship with paint itself. Aviram often works in series, returning obsessively to recurring forms in order to explore not only what is painted, but how painting itself behaves as living material.
