Art Global Contemporain is pleased to introduce Courtney-Jade as the first artist presented in our new Featured Photographer series. Working under the name Black Snake White Dove Fine Art Photography, she approaches the natural world through a distinctly monochrome language, attentive to forms and moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. In Transient Elements, droplets, petals, filaments and webs are isolated against deep fields of shadow. Freed from colour, these familiar fragments acquire an unexpected presence: fragile structures become architectural, while fleeting details appear suspended between emergence and disappearance. Courtney-Jade's use of intense contrast is not merely aesthetic. Darkness acts as an active space, shaping each luminous subject and revealing textures, tensions and hidden geometries. Across the series, what seems delicate is never treated as insignificant; instead, fragility becomes a form of quiet strength. Her photographs invite us to slow down and reconsider the scale of attention. A single drop, a flower or a frost-lined web becomes a micro-landscape — an intimate territory where light, impermanence and structure briefly meet. Through Transient Elements, Courtney-Jade transforms the overlooked into the contemplative, reminding us that even the most ephemeral forms can leave a lasting visual resonance.
